Gardasil® is a very new vaccine that is made by Merck®. Gardasil® was approved by the FDA for prevention of cervical cancer. It is to be used for females only, from ages 9 to 26 years old.
Gardasil ® can be used to prevent HPV or Human Papillomavirus. Gardasil® does not prevent all forms of HPV, but still helps. Gardasil® does not protect you from other STD's.
